Emerald Caress
I went into the forest green where the emerald caresses
and here I rested and could hear a thousand birds singing
chirping and twittering in unison and I became lost in their song
and the breeze was gentle and the sky blue with cotton clouds
oh, I felt peaceful and tranquil and soon drifted off to sleep
and did not even notice the forest fairies that came gliding
whispering and giggling, and playing with my hair and dress
