Embracing Thoughts

I know not where I'm going, just where I want to be
I know not what tomorrow brings, just what I want to see
I know everything I love and I know what I miss
Memories last and blow through my mind like a kiss
I know the gratitude that saves me over all
There is no avoiding another turbulent fall
As birds trust their wings, to hold them in flight
And ultimate survival takes on an inner fight
Sometimes the world can turn upside-down
But, the shining sun will always come around
I have no way of knowing what will come my way
But there is a constant to rely on every single day
