Embracing the Process

I only see joy, anxiety and satisfaction.
An electric and cheerful audience.
When I'm facing an unstable and dangerous lion.
A shiny and perfect golden chest.
At the end of a long rickety wooden bridge.
It may not seem like it, but I like every little thing.
From the fun of the present moment.
For the possible future reward.
But what would all this be without adrenaline.
With a lion that's afraid to roar.
With a sturdy metal bridge.
I may even fail... But it will be free of any regrets.
