Embrace
I feel so lonely
I feel so alone
I need someone to hold me
But my loneliness is all I can call my own
The depression that I carry everyday
The endless sadness that won't get away
The insane reality of it all
But I guess everyone eventually falls
The shame of becoming what I'm not
And who would have thought
That she would leave me in my time of need
But she left me, yes, indeed
The scab is always torn apart
And what hurts most is my broken heart
I feel so afraid of what will take place
But I don't care because I need your embrace
