Embers I

Embers glow deep in the Fire
While wild flames flicker,
That light across the wall and floor.
Shadows prance over ancient forgotten lore.
Darkness does move...
Over dusty intricate artifacts
Like strange creatures
from forgotten lands of Primal Frost.
The warm dark wood...
With many a beam cut from ages of bark
Create Illusions of secret Vestiges
That scream and speak wordlessly...
Eyes blink...
Do mouths snarl illusions? Maybe...
Wood snaps...Pops...
a sizzle of wood steam, snap
Sparks fly twirling up from deep within the Hearth.
While pulsing embers glow bright and deep...
It warms night travelers
Coming miles from afar.
And warm dark wood lies under playful firelight...
Its greets all with ghosts of wordless
Imagery that winks and growns
Illusions tumble through.
Maybe...a trick of the light?
Only empty rooms know...
While wild flames flick...
Embers glow bright and deep.
While wild flames flicker,
That light across the wall and floor.
Shadows prance over ancient forgotten lore.
Darkness does move...
Over dusty intricate artifacts
Like strange creatures
from forgotten lands of Primal Frost.
