Elusive Nymph
Seclusion, where waters sway
Moonlight gleams upon the spray
Here I sit alone and wait
For my love, but she is late
Then at last I see her there
Flowing dress, cascading hair
She approaches, we embrace
I can feel my pulses race
Undulation of her hips
There is hunger in her lips
She takes charge, she leads the way
I submit to sensual play
Time flies by, does not exist
She knows well I can’t resist
To the hold she has on me
She will never set me free
I give in, become her slave
Then we ride the final wave
Till satiated on the sand
I reach out to take her hand
But beside me it’s all bare:
She is not there.
