Elusive Ideas get the Best of Me

I reached up into my mind
but she skidded away
she was flirty and flighty with me
what can I say?

Another elusive thought came by
She was lost before I could even try

Three great writing prompts escaped me in the last minute or two.
Do your ideas often do this to you?

Ideas floating in wind, never to return again ? Yes, this has happened to me, many times. Thoughts usually return. : ) At some point in time. Congratulations Caren, on Poem of the Day. : ) Hugs, Brandy
