Eloquent Grief

What do you call this?
For one hour
Standing erect
By the pond

The pond of despair
And regret
Waiting to meet
Your eloquent grief
And the wishes
Of yesterday

Tomorrow will not come
For you have
not lived today
And yet you remain
The oldest of all
