Eloquent

Flickering flame continue your warmth tonight Liquescent wax dripping so slowly that it freezes In a droplet before the fall, hanging forever in limbo I am that droplet, in limbo, neither cold nor hot Molding soft like clay, needing a potter for perfection **still thinking....

We all need the potter but are not willing to let him work..Each trial if we pass the trial test makes us better and stronger...Life is not easy for sure...Great job ...Keep working on it..Mom

This is reminiscent of Dickinson or St. Vincent Millay. It is subtle and WELL observed. Good job! Regards as always. Gerard.

Hi Doris, Get the potters wheel out so that someone special can mold your genuine loving heart with warmth and affection so that you can feel that sense of perfection as you both begin to create a true and loving heart that will never wander or leave you falling apart because they will love you with conviction as much as you will love them in return. Thank you for sharing your kind thoughts with me on my poetry today. By the way I am from the great state of Texas,Sincerely Dean :)

Eloquent words indeed, Doris. I think this would qualify as free verse. Love your little note at the end. Best wishes, Carolyn
