Elizabeth Wesley's Rooster

Elizabeth Wesley's old Rooster
is quite a Cock-a-Doodle-Doo-ster.
He struts through her hen house
like each hen is his spouse,
and each egg will soon get his booster.

Just rereading one of your funniest limericks, John! Almost perfect in meter!

Yes John, I love it, he's the same old devil here; hasn't changed on feather at all. Glad to know I give a bit of inspiration here and there. Keep up your great rhyme.
