Elixir of the Sun and the Moon

Just let my heart and mind breath I bellow out into the bitter wind The constant plummeting of thoughts Against my skull Nausea narrows and squeezes my lungs in its paws My organs are the monster’s play toys Thrown around Pulled apart Beat around And left alone Emotions spilling out of my chest Overflowing me I’m drowning in disquiet The pulling of ropes inside my throat The boulder tight knots Almost taking up the entirety of my windpipe Leaving with no air to breath I fall to my knees in front of a body of water I see myself I am equal parts Light and darkness Yin and Yang I am the Sun An extinguishable burning flame in my soul Burning fast and slow Passion Power Pride Confidence coursing through my solar waves Never running away from a chance encounter I go when and where I want to go Nothing stops me Hashtag no regrets for life Never settling Everchanging I am the Moon The silent observant The mystic and magical Collector of past letters and spells An old soul, living millenniums of past lives Nevertheless Eager to learn more Feel more Experience more Because Life is certainly much much more than this Than my naked wrists Looking for a red silk ribbon to wrapped around with I breath in and out heavily As sweats drips down my forehead The elixir of the Sun and the Moon Resides in me I sigh The night never is eternal The day is never eternal Nothing is forever One single breath, One single blink, One single wave, And the moment is gone And I know I will realize I’m where I always needed to be
