Eleventy-Ten

Children see things in a simple way They could teach us a lot, my friends Makes sense and it's perfectly logical That eleventy-ten follows ten Sadly they have to eventually grow up And lose their childhood innocence To see the world through children's eyes Before life's problems commence Life's not complicated as in later years Just black and white, no greys No traumas, no hang-ups, no challenges To trouble their brain every day They say it and play it just like it is No delusions of fame or riches They simply live and enjoy the moment And scratch where the itchy spot itches Those days are distant and gone forever But I still remember them well When I see some tots on a teeter totter I just sit and watch for a spell Children see things in a simple way They could teach us a lot, my friend Makes sense and it's perfectly logical That eleventy-ten follows ten © Jack Ellison 2015

What?!!!! We have to grow up!!!! Think I'll just enter my second childhood... Sounds good to me. I'll just let Hubby and Grandpa Troll solve problems... Besides playing with Dragon is way more fun than paying bills... Ummm... Maybe I should pay those first... and clean the house... refill the fire extinguishers... Do the shopping... ummm.... Don't rush me Dragon... I'm getting there... Or I will... eventually... Honest! Right after my nap. Sigh! Well maybe...
