Elevator Shaft

(This is a fictional poem)

When it comes to intelligence, I guess I'm pretty daft.
I tried to use a faulty elevator and I fell down the shaft.
People told me to use the stairs but I didn't listen to that.
When I hit the bottom, it made a great big splat.
When I took that fall, I fell down twenty floors.
When I landed, I didn't have my good looks anymore.
They had to scrape me off the bottom and put me back together.
If you're wondering when I'll ride another elevator, the answer is never.
