Elevate Me

We have been trying to be birds
Flying high to the sleeping sky
We have been trying to forget the past
Devastated and run as fast as we can
It does not matter how or why
But sometimes we are stuck in a confusing ride
Burning by the flame of anger
Washing our constant mind with tears and fear

My heart is dying for directions
And my life is definitely in need for correction
Life is not like what you have seen on TV
Life is like a time bomb waiting to blow apart
This burden mind I have been carrying over my shoulder
I’ve been let it hover for years now

Sometimes I wished I have a pair of wings to fly
And blast myself to the sleeping sky
Staying in one of those shimmering stars
And enjoying one hour of emptiness
Just me and my mind with my eyes staring at the world from afar
How it seems so small, so hollow, so lost

I wanna to feel so high when I am fall
I wanna feel the glorious sensation of wonder
When I am looking for a way-out in a dark
I wanna be elevated
And when everything starts to fall apart
I wanna be elevated

There is a power, a mighty power
More than the strongest man on earth
More than the smartest man or the richest even
This is the power which can elevate each soul
Raised all the brokenhearted
Lifted the lost ones
It goes deep in thought that the power will guide
Then I wanna be elevated
To find myself, a right way in life
