Elephants and Blue Whales

I feel sorry for the young, deceived by a silver tongue. Inflated egos swollen, their innocence was stolen. To maintain life's mystery, truth's stricken from history. And with Nature acting strange, today's kids face climate change. The elephants and blue whales will fade into fairy tales. And it will not help to cry, as numerous species die. Kids will witness oceans rise as hope for any change dies. And with futures placed on hold, many may never grow old. Thanks to greed's stupidity, trust lost its validity. We've disenfranchised our youth with an alternative truth.
