Hannibal rode on an elephant; giraffes are as gentle as can be. Don't be afraid of these creatures because of their size. I do like the imagery, I can't say "I' am really scared." You have a delightful sense of humor, Steve, and the haiku form is perfect. Once again, you make a very welcome addition to Poetry Soup. Love, Carolyn
