Notes About The Poem
I penned this heartfelt poem first, then added music to bring it to life. Now, I wonder what a flight to Mars truly involves? Is it essential to land there physically, or could we carry the essence of Mars and the Cosmos within us? Are we, in fact, part of the Cosmos itself? Could we already be on Mars or immersed in the vastness of the Cosmos? And do those countless extraterrestrials genuinely yearn to meet us? Would we embrace and protect them?
Elemental Haikus' Connection to Mars
Earth:
Take off from the mass
Grounding oneself means standing
Barefoot on the grass
Water:
Fills every cranny
Obscure holes are discovered
Circulates freely
Air:
Time to rise to heights
Flight welcomes the curious
Breathe in wise insights
Fire:
Light shining above
Beckoning all Cosmic kin
Through beams they all love
Spirit:
A dream sparks on Mars
Spirits beam us way up there
To converse with Stars
Dream:
Dreams give hope to all.
Why not fly upward in Space?
Bright elementals!
Goal:
I'm flying to Mars.
I am on Mars in spirit.
Will be there on foot!
