Elegy To My Happiness
In the crispy, frozen wind,
I stand, as I stare at an epitaph
that you molded with your own
hands, like Michelangelo between
a jar of wine.
Before, I didn't see it like an epitaph;
I saw it as a sign of bliss and love
in its pristine state. What you did
to me left me wounded;
broken from your affair.
How could you, darling?
I look at our picture,
like a teary sunset seeing our faces
saying "We Loved each Other"........
