Ekphrasis-Famous Faces B

warhol
oh oh marilyn had everything
but one flaw-
was so unsure
hopper
the empy chair
explains the sadness in her stare
michelangelo
less a picture of sleep
more of piety and grief
whistler
he was ..her own dear butterfly..
He made her more famous,in reply
seurat
as her gaze disppears into the haze
did seurat miss the point
watteau
a black beauty in chalk
red,black and white
to fill us with delight
