Eighty Four Voices

Last Moments of the Crew
of the Ocean Ranger?

Eighty-four voices cried out in the night
In the roar of the wind driven seas.
Help us, we're drowning, this rig's going down
And we'll miss Valentine's Day.
-----
Damn! Why won't it work; they said that it would!
Why the hell can't we right her back up?
Help us, we're drowning, our rig's going down
And we'll miss Valentine's Day.
-----
This rig’s a-listing; can't right her back up.
We all tried hard but it wouldn’t work.
The winds are howling, huge waves swamping us
And we'll miss Valentine's Day.
----
Eighty-four voices prayed hard in the night,
My god will we not see tomorrow?
Help! We're drowning, Ocean Ranger is doomed
And we'll miss Valentine's Day.

(Chorus) Repeat first verse......
-----
