Eidolon En Pointe

Savvy silver vanity set howls on the edge of an antique dresser; The ballerina’s festooned curls aglow in the mirror’s reflection; On the edge of an antique dresser an eidolon sits pointe shoes laced; Aglow in the mirror’s reflection, left foot lies slightly unnatural; An eidolon sits pointe shoes laced, wailing her toes swell ever larger; Left foot lies slightly unnatural, bent and broken into reddish blue; Wailing her toes swell ever larger, ‘Relinquish the pain so I can dance!’ Bent and broken into reddish blue bloom into spiderwebs that splinter; ‘Relinquish the pain so I can dance!’ The ballerina’s festooned curls bloom into spiderwebs that splinter; Savvy silver vanity set howls.
