Egret In Flight

the setting sun silhouettes a great white egret in sky of marigold so vividly; a portrait of grace in flight! it's long neck, arched; outstretched wings rhythmically flapping, flying off to an untold destination. look at it! just look at it go... up, up, up, up and away! bye bye, bird... Congratulations on your win Edward! We have a marine preserve with a levee for walking close to us. I marvel at the beauty and flight of the egrets that you so perfectly describe in poetic artistry. Blessings of Christmas joy to you my friend. Let's raise a toast to the New Year and the blessings of more wonderful poems!!!
