Ego and What To Do In the World

I
Ego is not real

II
Ego is necessary, images we have of ourselves, but it is like a measure as are inches, centimeters, kilograms, and longitudes.

III
You cut other things with tools, though you measure the length with another tool. Try cutting cheese with a Line of Longitude!

IV Our mistake is to treat the ego as another of our physical organs. It is NOT even that real (do you see your eyes, bite your own teeth?)

Truly original. Thought process I can understand. Ego's are like cancers. Can either be benign or malignant but not sure if we other people's word make it grow or shrink, or it is influenced by inner perception and self programming. Very insightful piece well penned. Best regards David in NZ

Ah, the ego, the demonstrative id, what would the world do without self-confidence? Perhaps, be just a little more humble. Great write.
