Ego
It's such a crying shame
Because we will never know just
how great he could have been
Because he let his ego run riot
and take over his talent
And sadly he couldn't recapture
his former self or it
Because his ego simply wouldn't
allow him to entertain the thought
he could possibly be anything
but right not wrong
