Effortlessly
A slight breeze that blows your hair
Trees that dance, and girls that stare
Leaves that flutter, and glide to the ground
Beautiful sights, never make a sound
That silent moment, where you realize
To take a chance and close your eyes
No matter how far, no matter how long
I'll always be there, when things go wrong
To hold your hand one last time
To see you smile, a moments that's mine
To smell the air, and feel the breeze
To hold you close, please never leave me
This feeling inside me, it pushes me through
I yearn for a life, without so much to lose
I just wanna be free, I just wanna soar
To spread my wings out wide, and fly out the open door
I just wanna heal, to lick my wounds in peace
I just want my life, to meld together... effortlessly
effortlessly.... effortlessly
I see the wind blow by, rustle loose a leaf
I see it falter and fall, not sure where it's safe
I see a branch, reach out desperately against the ever blowing wind,
trying to grab ahold, of a long lost friend
It struggles to grab ahold, to hold on tight to this dear leaf
I see it sway with the wind, and slowly retreat back to comfortable confinement
The most important part, is to give nature a life to breathe.
It's in this moment, when time is stopped
when nature listens, it hears your call
You needn't only ask, to float instead of fall
A pillow of leaves and a blanket of moss, nature shall provide
so when you land, at least its on the softer side
Right here and now, I no longer feel lost
All I want is to heal, to lick my wounds in peace
I just want my life, to meld together... effortlessly
effortlessly....effortlessly
