Edges and Corners

You figure you know the purpose of your existence,
why, I tell you, what you think is only in your mind
and what you see as parts of that whole square
are nothing but edges and corners of illusions.

Edges and corners, where truth is unreal,
edges and corners, everything is a lie.

Ha ha! it just seems so funny, silly and ridiculous
to think you could lick your wounds just with faith,
not knowing that belief would really lead nowhere
but to the edges and corners of this senseless life!
