edgars bed-time story

once upon a midnight dreary
while i pondered weak and weary....
over many an ancient volume of forgotten lore

suddenly there came a tapping
as of someone gently rapping...
tapping on my chamber door

t'is the wind and nothing more
ah....distinctly i remember it was
in the bleak december when each

dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor
