Economics of Love
You can borrow my heart,
In exchange for whats left of yours,
Control my feelings with desire's remote,
Turning up my love,
And muting my hate,
Quality or Quantity,
Our trade is obviously irrational,
I will color outside the lines of realism,
And denial,
For a glance into your perception of perfection,
We both should win in this truth or dare game,
But in reality,
Trust is the ultimate dare,
This trade,
While dull at first glance,
Shines brighter than 7 suns,
Our love is scarce,
Endangered by passion poachers,
But we soar elegantly ahead,
We are a bald eagle,
in a world of pidgeons,
Without resistance,
Or hesitance,
I will loan you my heart,
In faith,
That you won't exchange it for another.
