Eclipsed Heart
In the hollow stillness of night,
Whispers of your laughter linger near,
Each echo pierces the weary soul,
A dagger thrusts within my chest,
A wound that bleeds an endless ache,
The world fades into shades of gray.
Dreams once bright, now dimmed and lost,
Memories swirl like autumn leaves,
In the depths of sorrow I dwell,
A void echoing your absence still,
Love's sweet song now a haunting ache,
Without you, each moment drags on.
Time bends beneath this heavy weight,
The sun retreats, shadows grow long,
Hope flickers like a candle's flame,
Loneliness tightens like a noose,
Yet in this pain, your spirit lives,
Forever cherished, forever missed.
