Echoes of War

a world in distress
Full of judgment and hatred
There's no respect
People judged on their skin colour and faces

Love is rare
Hate is known
War is everywhere
Will we make it home?

Blood stains on pavements
Tears on cheeks
Bombs exploding
Bodies all over the streets

A clown in charge of a country
Who won't help those in need
While he's in charge
There will never be peace

War is starting
Money being spent on weapons
Presidents don't care about those starving
The world is in depression

We're told to hate
But we need to learn to love
If I get killed for writing this
I hope you find a way to do good

Echoes of war
We need to speak, can't stay in silence
Bodies laying on the floor
We need to end all this violence
