Echoes of Liminal Light

Along the long, silent halls they drift,
thoughts curling tight like thorned tendrils.
Calm resists.
Walls lean close, sighing with quiet cracks.

A tremor passes through you.
Whispers press in like tidewater.
Yet your roots hold in secret.
You break and the light drifts past,
soft and silent.

Light and truth are sometimes only detectable by a psychic radar that can see through and between the slithering vines. Great poetry!

Yeah, totally. Sometimes you need that inner radar to spot the real stuff hiding in all the mess.

Thank you! I'm so glad it keeps calling you back. Sometimes a poem holds a quiet echo we didn’t expect but deeply feel.

Love that last line: "- and light slips quietly by". Nicely penned, Rowena. :) john

Thanks so much, John! That line means a lot to me—sometimes the quietest moments carry the most light.

wonderful imagery and flow to your poem. I'm glad to see that the 'light' won over lies. It happens, given time. Well done, hugs, Sara

Thank you so much, Sara! I'm really touched by your words. Yes, light does win—sometimes slowly, but surely. Big hugs back to you!

This is sure interesting, with lots of evocative imagery. It sounds like light triumphing over insidious lies.

Thanks David! Yeah, that’s exactly the vibe—like truth finally shining through all the hidden lies. Appreciate you picking up on that!
