Echoes

Abrupt change
Wet rain pours;
Misty landscape scene

Roadside kerb
Walkway water puddles;
Splash of speeding cars

Wet window panes
A thousand droplets;
Random pattern

Umbrella parade
Wetness everywhere;
Rush for cover

Jagged lightning
Electric sizzle;
Trees uprooted

Massive traffic jam
Old giant tree falls;
Two road lanes blocked

Little people drenched
Colourful raincoats;
Cutesy parasols

~~~~~~~~~


Wetness soaks
Wet shoes busy;
Rainy commotions

~~~~~~~~~


Touch of flu bout
Sniffles and cough;
Sore throat lingers

Drowsy dizzy feel
Flu hits the roof;
Bedside manners rest

Blur sensations
Mind groggy here;
Too much medication

Rainy day people
Stay indoors;
Wetness hurls cold

Bronchial nuisance
Coughing bout chokes;
Heavy breathing hiss
