Echo in the void Silence reigns in a vast expanse All in vain a lone voice of chance Echoes rippling like water in space No one there to hear the true voice Words fall on deaf ears in the breeze Lost in the void like silent trees A plea born from sheer desperation Blown away like dust before creation Each syllable floating on the air Trying to reach ears not there The void sucks life from each word Leaving no trace of uttered word Desolate the voice stands, unheard!
