Eccedentesiaist

She smiles for the world to see, But inside she hides her misery. She's an eccedentesiast, you see, A master of hiding what can't be. Her laughter rings out loud and clear, A facade to mask her fear. She'll never show the pain she feels, Her heartache she keeps concealed. It's not that she's being fake, She just doesn't want to break. She'd rather hide than show her tears, And face the judgment of her peers. But though she may seem strong and tough, Inside, she's not always enough. She's an eccedentesiast through and through, Hiding her pain from me and you. So let's be kind and try to see, What lies beyond her smile so free. For though she hides, her heart is true, And she's worth loving, too.
