Haunted by a Black Bird sitting in a tree
Gray clouds swirling are all I can see
Confusion is wrapped up in a mystery
As a Black Bird tilts its head, looking at me
In the midst of winter on branches bare
The Ebony bird continues to stare
A storm is coming as its caws declare
Soon, snowflakes will be everywhere
Chilling Ebony calls, with Ivory on the way
The eye of the storm is nearby today
Cackling answers will come into play
To unravel life's clues, here where I stay
Snowfall begins, the storm is extreme
All through the night, it falls as it deems
I drift off to sleep in this wintry theme
Haunted by a Black Bird cawing in my dream
