Eaves Dropping
The silent whispers are heard afar, as though the words were neariy spoken .
Carefully said ,what is foul and fair, though not aloud for sake of other ears.
the secret words hoarded ,could be someday relived,by those who listened -
strained at such .
The covert is made open, seldom times it,s a trifle, many times what was said in
the quiet or dark revealed ,was shocking, either to decency or conscience.
Hence this gleaning sport, best fits a plot of intrigues and the arcane.
For good is proudly made light ,save where it,s alter-kind greatly abounds.
