Easy Street

Quitting my job today, and going to live in a tent.
Hey, man, it isn't so bad, I get State Aid and pay
no rent!
I get free medical care, free food and free meds, too.
In the USA, walk into any hospital ER and take full
advantage, they take care of all, it's true!

Those fools that go to work each day, I do smirk
as they walk by.
Such dummies feel sorry for me when my life is pie
in the sky.
Not work for me~ I hustle drugs, on a bike I stole,
I really make a fat bundle.
But I always play hopeless victim when panhandling,
I am master of the hustle and boy, can I play humble!

Forgot to mention the money I make as a paid protestor,
boy do I cash in!
We intend to crash businesses, ruin lives, because to us
America is a sin.

One day, we will all be equally poor with a Marxist leader.
I just cannot wait for that day to come.
After all, my tent needs an expensive, shiny free heater.
And no work for anyone, I say.
Just a land with freeloaders and cheaters.

Safer with Covid...To Sleep outside. My own, who cares, opinion, that if people REALLY cared...they would have them sleep in their yards and use their house, OR take them to lunch. Feeling sorry leaves them there. This poem is about freeloaders. Those who can work but choose tent life. One has to be nuts to live in SF.. 3 room apts cost 3,000 a month. Friends and family should help the homeless. These are not children. There is an answer to their problem. Many Christian groups feed them Pangie xx. Thank you,

You've described the moochers and situation in cities across the country so accurately in this verse, Pangie. I fear it is going to get worse. Bob

Bless you Arturo. We have some in our city. LA AND SF...loaded with them. Some choose that life.there is Stockton, where you get 600 a month just for being poor. In SF they _rinate on you if you do not give them enough money. Some need hospitalization in a mental units. It's legal to defecate on the streets in SF. You call the city and they pick it up? There are blocks of it in SF, if not miles of excreta.Thats CA, 2020 Needles litter the sidewalks in SF.its a problem..a big one...with psychological roots. Volunteers clean up tent cities and trash. Pangie xx
