Easy Rider

Easy Rider

There is a line drawn in the sand when will we understand
A challenge to be free is a question of time
The highway is going West but we exit stage left
I must confess the warm bike & silly blues

The news of Vietnam when men I crying to come home
Through a cloud formation in the sky a distant look
Joni Mitchell & the turning of the times
Hendrix was blaring people were starring

Shelter lies dormant amidst it's beckoning plow
The moral of the story a salute to old glory
Stars & stripes with everything nice
The price of freedom heading out on the highway

A caged fury with the voice of Mr. nobody Wavy Gravy
The best whore house in the east a sorted treat
Shades of black with a tint of grey pulls the heart
The flame that ignited the flame a tug at the heart

Nicholson, Fonda, Hopper & the gang what is left to explain
It was the turning of the time with motor cycles on the scene
Let freedom ring with old glory latest fling
You got to hold it in your lungs long enough
