Easter Memories

I remember the days of Easter when I was growing up,
There might be an Easter Lily in the living-room.

Easter Sunday we would have a new outfit and Easter hat for church,
We were off to church on Sunday, I would see my friends there.

When we came back from church ,
The Easter bunny would hide the chocolate bunny and Easter eggs.

We made beautiful baskets out of cardboard,
They were woven and colored bright colors, we put straw in the basket.

We had an egg coloring kit, where we would color the eggs,
Then we put the hard boiled pastel eggs in the basket.

Our parents were very creative,
They both loved art and music.

I remember one year we stopped at an island,
The Easter bunny hid all the Easter eggs and presents .

We had such good weather that day,
All of us returned home safely.

The parents and children have the good memories of Easter,
God continues to bless us all.
