Easter Lessons 9

I asked him plainly,
"Rabbi, is it I?"

He answered me clearly,
"You have said it".

He knew that I would betray him.
Yet, he loved me and allowed me
To drink from the same cup, saying,
"Drink from it, all of you".

I betrayed him with a kiss.
Yet, he loved me, calling
Me his friend.

So great was his love!!!
But it was too late for me.
My soul was forever doomed.
