Easter Is a Special Time
Easter Is A Special Time
Easter Is A Special Time;
In the Northern hemisphere it’s Spring.
A time when baby lambs are born,
Yellow daffodils are king.
In the Southern hemisphere it’s more like fall;
Leaves turn to their Autumn colors;
Winter lies just ahead;
Just as our Creator orders.
Regardless of the seasons,
Easter is a time for us to rejoice.
It’s the time Christ died and rose again;
Of eternity, we were given choice.
Christ’s resurrection hope is sure;
God promised us redemption;
He promised us through his Son,
That we could all be forgiven.
Although Sunday’s not God’s Sabbath,
It’s a special time to celebrate,
His love for one lost world;
Christ’s resurrection to relate.
It gives us hope of a future;
Beyond the state of death;
The hope of the Second Coming,
When he calls to the dead, “Come forth!”
Because Easter is a special time,
Never let it pass by,
Without rejoicing in God’s miracle;
Christ’s resurrection upon which we rely.
So celebrate this joyous Easter
That your sins are forgiven;
That God loves you so much,
He gave you the hope of heaven.
