Easter Day
Another year has gone by
There's not a day that I don't cry,
I miss you daddy and sister Cheryl everyday
I have learned to accept that the pain never really goes away,
Tomorrow is Easter and you both are in heaven
What better place to be in it is a haven,
Being with God I should let you both go
I just miss you both so much my grieving is slow,
As time has gone by I should accept the way it is
If my heart would just let realize you both are his,
He called you both for a reason
Just like Mother Nature has her seasons,
In my mind I know why
But, then my heart steps in and I start to cry.
