Easter Celebrations

The days of Easter, come and go,
Religious memories in a book known as the bible.

Jesus our chosen teacher and companion,
To remember him each year.

He has taught me so much,
His many wise sayings.

Forgiveness perhaps the most difficult to comprehend,
God's son a saviour and model for mankind.

Easter we celebrate him born again,
Decorate our tables with colourful eggs in Easter baskets.

The Easter bunny is a favorite companion,
Blessings for parents and children.

God generous and kind,
A good friend to mankind.
