Easter

Easter is a time of love It’s a time of sorrow and pain. It’s a time to count our blessings And praise His Holy Name. When I think about Easter, I think of My Jesus hanging on that cross. I think of my sins that were forgiven Because He paid the cost. I think of the stones that were thrown at Him I see people ripping His clothes I cry “Have mercy in Jesus’ name!” And only heaven knows. Jesus died to save me And you and you and you So that we could be forgiven And feel His love through and through. The love of The Father and The Son The love of The Holy Ghost To tell our sons and daughters About our heavenly host. To tell them the story of Jesus To teach them to live in peace To never forget how Jesus died So He could live in you and me.
