Earth's Porch, Embracing Spring's Rebirths, Sonnet number V of XII Mark the blessings of Spring's new rains cascade of showers and new life Start of relief, from winter's pains true gift of fading away strife. From glowing of gems comes bright smiles hope and joy in this season's birth Joining of delight, to walk miles have newfound faith for all its worth. For he that shuns not loving light, may learn yet again to re-see Open eyes to far greater sight beauty of heart's gifts, shade of tree Earth's porch, looking into abyss Humanity begs more of this. And we are so glad to have started, "relief from winter's pains". Beautifully imagery here; I am glad of spring's colors. Enjoyed.

Thank you dear friend. Winter to me is by far the worst season to have to endure. As Nature tucks in its green and flowering beauty to await the rebirth of Spring's resplendent glories.

Thank you my friend. These twelve sonnets were written by me 30 years ago. Only now has any other person seen these presented to be read exactly as they were composed so long ago -- with no edits...

Thank you my friend. This one certainly withstands the vagaries of culture change and the test of time..
