Earthquakes

We're proud of things we're in control Relaxed, at ease with daily cares. We rule ourselves, no fear at all As we juggle desires and money affairs. We are not fazed by things that unnerve, As long as these do not hit us home. The wayward ones get what they deserve, We send the needy where they come from. But there are things we cannot handle And these may come anytime to break Our human pride and we find we're not able To negotiate, deter, or cancel an earthquake.
