Earthly Friends

Earthly friends will prove untrue, they won't always follow through.
Some will walk away, but those you know would never have stayed.
Some will stand beside you, even through lifes untimely mud slides.

Earthly friends aren't always strong, they too fall when pressure comes.
Some will fall away from you, then you go your seperate ways.
Some with you will grow a bond and build upon your friendship throng.

Earthly friends, do gather up, share your heart and shed some tears.
But understand; you need a root to keep you close and true.
By and by you'll understand while depending upon GOD's unchanging hand.
