Earthly Angels ---Nurses

Our paths have crossed though no intent,
illness borne is why we're sent.

We look to you profession learned,
seeking help, for health returned.

You give so much, ask not from us,
while in your care we do trust.

Shall be a day, this plan for all,
kingdom come will make it's call.

Until then, what we see are Angels,
Yes we've meet,
they've been caring for me.

I wrote this on behalf of myself and my Wife,
after she completed her first round of kemo treatments.
To pay tribute to the extraordinary Nurses and medical staff,
who provided such wonderful, compassionate care to her.

You said a lot in so few. I love the rhyme, and the message. Indeed, nurses are angels, and they help many people! I love this poem. Have a nice day Mark!

Thank you Victoria! Angels are in fact real, taking the form of Nurses! Unfortunately my Wife did not survive her battle with cancer.
