Earthbound

She started as an angel Only she fell to the earth She longed to feel the wind blowing It made her feel free Her heart was golden It couldn't be measured for it's worth She has the soul of a savior Helping anyone she'd meet Then one day she flew to close to the sun All her beautiful feathers got severely burned She tumbled and tumbled Her wings broken and bruised All the souls that she had once helped Were nowhere around Now she's forever stuck here Trapped and earthbound.
