Earth Treading Stars Part One

OF ALL THE RICHES OF THE WORLD
THEIRS ONLY ONE OF ENVIOUS WORTH.
MY EARTH TREADING STARS,
YOU ARE RICHER BY FAR.
YOU FOOTSTEPS CARESS THE TOPPLED GROUND
AND PROFESS IT SOUNDLY.
I AM BY RHYTHM PROFOUND.
OUR HEARTS ARE BOUND.
EARTH TREADING STARS,
I FIND YOUR EYE
UPON NIGHTS CANDLES IN THE SKIES.
THEY TWINKLE AND SHINE BY DUST
DROPPED BY AN ANGEL DEVINE.
THIS LOVE IS MINE.
I DINE UPON YOUR KISSES,
YET LIVE UPON YOUR WISHES.
EARTH TREADING STARS,
A MIRACLE,
THATS WHAT YOU ARE.
YOU TOOK MY SOLE
AND MADE IT WHOLE.
TAKE THIS TENDERLY REGARD
AND SOFTENED EVERY INCH MADE HARD.
I GIVE IT FREELY IN MY DEMEANER.
SOME MAY
CALL ME A DREAMER.
SOME SAY
I WAS A VICTUM OF BREATHLESS LOVE
AND SWEPT AWAY.
FAR AND FAR I GET EVERY DAY.
